A medium to large heritage variety from Maine, believed to be a seedling of Blue Pearmain. Crisp, sweet and mild. Ideal for fresh eating and cooking but can keep for up to 2 months, Shows good scab resistance. Rolfe is triploid, so it will not be able to pollinate other apple trees.
