A prolific producer of attractive medium sized fruit. Should be picked in mid August, before fully ripe, then allowed to fully ripen in cold storage. The original tree is at least 250 years old, and is growing near Stacyville, ME. A vigorous and sturdy grower brought to our attention by Clarke Nattress.
